Fake emails/texts impersonate candidates or PACs with urgent donation requests. Links go to scam sites. Always donate directly at official campaign websites you navigate to yourself.
Not directly, but fake "voter registration" sites steal your SSN and personal info for identity theft. Only register at vote.gov or your state's official .gov site.
